What is the Stray Kat 500?
We believe guys are getting tired of going to just another car show. So we focus on trying to create a relaxing, laid back atmosphere where you can meet new friends and talk about Kustoms and Hot Rods. We have trophies but they go to the Koolest not just to the most money spent or the over baby'd. We believe in having fun enjoying our hobby without the stress of competition.
One of the kool aspects of the show you will see a $200K Kustom or Hot Rod parked right next to a $10K vehicle and both of them are having a great time. Every Kustom and Hot Rod no matter what condition is welcomed to attend the SK500. Some tag it as a Rat Rod show and they are wrong.
The SK500 is about "Real" car enthusiast having fun with real Kustoms and real Hot Rods. Our shows you will see more then just kool vehicles. We believe the importance of entertaining the whole family. You will hear kool music, see talented artist, Dewey has antique stores and you will have the opportunity to meet a lot of kool people.
2024 Stray Kat 500
This will be our 23rd (year) try for the Stray Kat 500. The show will be Downtown Dewey and around the Stray Kat Station. For the Kats that get into town early, you will be able to pick up your registration all day Friday. Registration will be open from 8am to 6pm on Friday, Friday is a day a lot of guys drive to Pawhuska to visit the Mercantile. It is a kool drive and only 25 miles away. Very kool place to visit. www.themercantile.com . Another option is visit Woolaroc www.woolaroc.org . It is only 25 miles away and you can easily spend all day. Saturday the car show hours are 7am to 4pm. The show is a come and go event, you don't have to be there a specific time. I'll post an event schedule later. The city streets will reopen to the public after 4pm. Sunday 8am to 10pm. Our Blessing of the rides will start at 9am and the trophies will be passed out around 11 am. Registration is $25 before the show and $30 the day of the show. Show is for Pre 64'ish Enthusiast that like real Hot Rods and Kustoms.
