The first annual “Lead Ain’t Dead”
September 7 & 8, 2018 * Dewey, Oklahoma.
We would like to host an event that celebrates the American Kustom
What is a Kustom? I believe it is an American made vehicle that was manufactured between 1935 to 1964. They can be mild to wild with some or all of the following modifications; Lowered, mild dechroming, nosed, decked, shaved, scooped, frenched headlights & taillights. They can also have wild modifications like; bumper and grill swaps, headlight and taillight swaps, channeled, sectioned, extended and chopped. Kustoms are works of moving art.
Below is a highlight of what should, could or will happen.
Friday (09/07/18) we will be leaving Bartlesville, Ok at 9am to go on a Kustom Kruise to visit the Darryl Starbird Rod & Kustom Museum in Afton, Ok. If you have never been you are missing out seeing all the kool Kustom history. I'm blessed that the museum is only an hour away. Be sure to check out their web site. http://www.darrylstarbird.com
Saturday (09/08/18) The main part of the show will be held in front of Stray Kat Kustoms shop & Two Tall Okies. The address is 700 N Delaware in Dewey, Ok. If we need more room we have plenty of choices to accommodate the Kustoms. Show will run until 4pm.
Saturday afternoon, we will have our first “official” Kustom Conference. We will be discussing some kool kustom related topics . If you are a Kustom nerd like myself you will enjoy the discussion. I will be posting the topics when we get them narrowed down.
If you would like to register for the show it is $20 pre-registration and $25 the day of the show. You can enter online, just click the following link http://www.straykatkustoms.com/kat-shows
